Joe and Hopper is an indie-animated web series developed by SnazzyVEVO on YouTube. It was originally developed as an 'analog-horror' series, but then we realized that was an awful idea. So we killed everyone who originally worked on it, and hired a bunch of new people. This is true and factual.
Our story takes place in Texas. Fantastic, I know.
Our main character 'Hopper' (the rabbit), and their girlfriend 'Evelyn' (the feline), are trying to make ends meet in their awesome new apartment. They're part of an indie rock band called the 'DREAD BURNERS', which is decently popular by indie band standards. Apart of this band is one of Hoppers childhood friends 'Apollo' (the bear), and Evelyn's sister 'Josephine' (the alt feline). All is well in their daily lives, until a series of strange and violent murders begin to appear across the town.
Murder is usually fine and dandy, but these murders seem to link to specific parts of Hopper's past.
The cherry on top of it all: Hopper isn't feeling very well. With every passing day, the world around them feels distorted and unreal. Eventually, they are met with a strange ally, that only they can see. Joe (the mug*), appears in a moment of weakness, and offers to help with finding the culprit of the tragedies, for a vexing price. What happens next? You'll have to wait and find out! Stay tuned.
